Year 6 Curriculum Notes and Homework WB 7.10.19

Dear Parents and Carers

This week in our lessons, we’ve focused on learning about slavery in Ancient Greece.  We have reflected on this subject from our 21st century perspective and from the perspective of Ancient Greek citizens.  The children used their historical enquiry skills with aplomb and truly impressed us. Well done Year 6! Our Maths lessons have focused on negative numbers, which we’ll continue with next week.  Our English lessons have continued to focus on Jason’s voyage on the Argo, with persuasive posters and letters to demonstrate our learning and decorate the classroom.  Please see below for this week’s homework:
