Friday 22nd May

Good morning splendiforous Sharks and totally terrific Turtles! It’s Friday, and can you believe that another half term has passed?

How did your junk modelling go yesterday? Did you manage to design and make a rocket fit for Bob? Today your job is to decorate your rocket. Foil is a really good thing to cover a rocket with and then you could stick on windows made from paper or perhaps milk bottle tops. Tissue paper flames work well from the bottom of your rocket or you could use a brightly coloured wrapper (maybe from an ice lolly!).

For your English task today you need to look at this weeks spellings. Can you put them in to a sentence? Could you fit more than one spelling in to a sentence? Can you make your sentences space themed?

In Maths we are rotating shapes. Click on the link to access the online lesson.

Don’t forget there are lots of games on Mathletics to support your learning in Maths and you can adjust the difficulty level to make sure you are challenging yourselves.

Dear Parents,

Next week should be the half term holidays, so no home schooling tasks will be set. However, during our catch up phone calls lots of you expressed a keenness for something to do in the holidays to maintain routine. Based on this we have attached below a series of booklets, activities and games that you could complete over the next week- should you wish. If you want to have a break then of course that is absolutely fine too.
